“Hope”This artwork brings a brilliant and unique feeling to me when I see it. This eye is different in many forms if it’s being compared to a real eye. This eye can be a fantasy eye, or an eye that could carry different meanings. Its purple pupil creates an intense mood. In real life you really don’t see purple pupils, so what does this mean to you? To me this eye means hope for our future.
Outside of the eye we see a rough texture, which symbolizes all the chaos we are going through in this world. Such, as economic problems, natural disasters, and crimes happening frequently everywhere. This eye sees hope, despite this confusion that we are facing. The reflection in the eye seems like a natural scene, which to me represents, the Planet Earth. The butterfly is us, because we are ready to fly and overcome all the obstacles we have to face. The butterfly sees hope in this eye, therefore it is ready to spread its wings and fly.
